Thanyaburi, Administrative district in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
Thanyaburi spans 112 square kilometers across the eastern part of the Chao Phraya valley, featuring six sub-districts and numerous residential neighborhoods.
King Rama V established Mueang Thanyaburi in 1901, and the district underwent name changes from Rangsit to its current designation in 1938.
The district maintains several traditional Thai festivals throughout the year, bringing together residents from all six sub-districts for communal celebrations.
Future Park Rangsit, located within the district, receives 150,000 weekend visitors and contains multiple retail shops, banks, restaurants, and entertainment facilities.
The Government Pharmaceutical Organization operates a medical marijuana farm and production facility within the district boundaries.
