Wat Chanthawongsaram

Wat Chanthawongsaram is a Buddhist temple in Khlong Chan featuring traditional Thai architecture with detailed murals and sculptures throughout its structures. The complex contains prayer halls and meditation areas decorated with intricate artistic works that illustrate Buddhist teachings.

The principal Buddha statue, Phra Phothongkham, experienced an unusual fate in 1962 when it was stolen and later restored with its original head. This event made the statue especially meaningful to the community.
