Wat Lat Phrao, Buddhist temple in Lat Phrao district, Bangkok, Thailand
Wat Lat Phrao features a modern yellow-painted Ubosot and contains three standing Buddha statues positioned on an elevated terrace within its large Viharn.
The temple was established during the 19th century, preceding the residential development that transformed the surrounding area starting in the 1960s.
The temple houses replicas of two significant Buddha statues: the Luang Po Sothon from Chachoengsao Province and a model of the Emerald Buddha.
Located near Lat Phrao Canal in Soi 41, the temple welcomes visitors throughout the day and includes a morning market in its vicinity.
The temple's Chedi contains Buddhist relics that were transported from Kandy, Sri Lanka, adding religious importance to this spiritual center.
