Phra Chedi Klang Nam

Phra Chedi Klang Nam is a white bell-shaped chedi standing at the mouth of the Rayong River in Thailand. The structure rises from a reddish-brown brick base and serves as a landmark in the river landscape.

This chedi was built in 1873 by order of a provincial administrator to help sailors navigate the waters. The construction marked an important reference point for ships entering Rayong's river system.

This chedi holds meaning for local communities who gather here during water festivals and spiritual celebrations. The site remains a focus for traditional Buddhist practices and local devotion throughout the year.

The site is accessible daily from 6 am to 5 pm and is located in Muang District in Rayong. Access is straightforward for visitors exploring the river area.

Each year, people climb to the top to place ceremonial cloth offerings at this chedi. This ritual demonstrates how the site continues to be an active part of local spiritual traditions.
