Wat Mahannapharam, Buddhist temple in Sao Chingcha, Thailand.

Wat Mahannapharam features traditional Thai architecture with ornate decorations and gardens in the center of Bangkok near the Giant Swing area.

The temple construction began during King Rama III's reign in 1850 and was completed under King Rama IV with oversight from Prince Annop.

The first public school in Thailand opened at this temple in 1884, marking the beginning of formal education for common people under King Rama V.

The temple maintains regular opening hours for visitors who can observe Buddhist ceremonies, architectural details, and two notable Buddha statues.

Children are permitted to play takraw, a traditional sport using rattan balls, within the temple grounds following a specific donation tradition.
