Klong Dao Beach is a sandy beach on Ko Lanta Yai featuring calm, shallow waters perfect for swimming and wading. The shoreline runs for several kilometers with coconut palms lining the shore and many simple guesthouses and food stalls positioned directly along the water.
The beach remained largely undeveloped for many years until tourism began growing in the region in recent decades. Small businesses and accommodations developed gradually as visitors discovered the area.
The beach is easy to access with shallow water making it comfortable for beginners and families. Visiting during the dry season provides the most stable weather for your stay.
