Wat Nang Sao, Buddhist temple in Tha Mai, Thailand
The temple features a brick ordination hall called Bot Maha Ut built on a curved base with terracotta tiles and wooden beam supports.
During a historical conflict with Burma, two sisters sought refuge in the temple's Phra Ubosot and later contributed to its renovation after their survival.
The ordination hall contains numerous gilded murals and Buddha statues, representing traditional Thai Buddhist architectural and religious elements.
Visitors can reach Wat Nang Sao by taking Highway 35 to Highway 3091, then turning left into Soi Wat Nang Sao 2 for one kilometer.
The temple includes a fish sanctuary next to the Tha Chin River, where striped catfish gather in large numbers for visitors to feed.
