Suan Son Pradipat

Suan Son Pradipat is a beachside park in Nong Kae that stretches along white sand shores lined with tall Casuarina trees creating natural shade throughout the grounds. The space includes open grassy areas, designated picnic zones, and direct access to the water for swimming and walking.

The location began as a military rehabilitation facility and later transformed into a public recreational park serving the broader community. It retains its ties to the Thai Armed Forces while becoming accessible to civilian visitors.

The adjacent Rajabhakti Park displays seven large bronze statues representing different eras of Thai monarchy, set within landscaped grounds where visitors walk among these commemorative figures.

A special excursion train operates on weekends from Bangkok to Suan Son Pradipat station, with a five-minute walk connecting directly to the beach. Facilities on the grounds include restrooms, changing areas, and food vendors, making the visit straightforward for families and groups.

The beach here lacks the rocky formations found at neighboring coastal areas, offering an uninterrupted stretch of sand for walking and swimming. This smooth shoreline makes it notably different from other nearby beaches in the region.
