Mae Wang National Park

Mae Wang National Park extends across mountains and forests with elevations reaching from 400 meters to 1,909 meters at Doi Pha Tang peak.

The park received its official designation as Thailand's 112th national park on November 20, 2009, protecting 119 square kilometers of natural territory.

Local communities maintain elephant camps within the park boundaries, offering educational experiences about traditional elephant handling and forest management techniques.

Visitors can access four different types of forests, numerous waterfalls, and hiking trails throughout the park's extensive network of natural attractions.

The park contains the Thanon Thong Chai mountain range, which feeds three major tributaries flowing into the Ping River system.
