Wat Huai Pla Kang, Buddhist temple in Rim Kok, Chiang Rai, Thailand.
The temple complex features a 25-meter-tall white statue of Guanyin overlooking the region, alongside a nine-story pagoda decorated in gold, green, and red colors.
The construction of Wat Huai Pla Kang started in 2010 and reached completion in 2015, establishing a new spiritual center in northern Thailand.
The temple incorporates Thai and Chinese architectural elements, including ornate dragon sculptures, detailed carvings, and multiple shrines dedicated to different Buddhist practices.
Visitors can access the temple between 7:00 and 21:00, with an elevator available for 40 THB to reach the top of the Guanyin statue.
From the observation area inside the Guanyin statue, visitors can view the entire Chiang Rai landscape through large windows placed at different levels.
