Wat Phiphat Mongkhon

The temple spreads across 119 rai of land, featuring multiple pavilions with detailed craftsmanship and a grand viharn crowned by a blue Burmese-style roof.

Archaeological findings indicate the temple site dates back 700 years to the Sukhothai period, with ancient foundations and a chedi now situated 1.5 meters below ground level.

The temple functions as a Buddhist study center under Luang Por Worakhun Prayut Phra Ajarn Pipatmongkol, attracting practitioners from various regions for spiritual development.

Visitors should bring water and wear appropriate footwear when exploring the large temple complex, as concrete surfaces and limited shade make the experience physically demanding.

The temple houses Phra Phuttha Sukho Phothong, a main Buddha image cast from 9 kilograms of pure gold, stored in a climate-controlled chamber.
