Wat Choeng Len, Buddhist temple in Ratchakhram, Thailand

Wat Choeng Len is a Buddhist temple in Ratchakhram featuring brick and concrete buildings arranged across spacious grounds. The site includes four large chedis near the main prayer hall, wooden monk quarters, a bell tower, and several Buddha statues carved in stone.

The temple was originally established at another location under a different name and relocated to its current site in 1830. Royal approval for its boundaries was granted in 1832, marking its formal establishment in the Ratchakhram area.

The temple serves as a focal point for Buddhist learning and practice within the Ratchakhram community, where visitors encounter local religious traditions in their everyday setting. The spaces here are regularly used for gatherings and teachings that connect residents to their spiritual heritage.

The temple is accessible to visitors who can walk through the grounds and see the various structures and statues on the property. It helps to wear respectful clothing and observe how other visitors behave to understand local customs.

Four large chedis stand in front of the main prayer hall and were built at the time the temple relocated to this location. These stone structures remain well preserved and create a distinctive visual landmark that stands out within the temple grounds.
