Wat Khao Cha Ngok, Buddhist temple in Phrommani, Thailand
Located near the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Wat Khao Cha Ngok features a traditional Thai architectural style with Buddha paintings adorning its interior walls.
In 1942, the military regiment established a marble factory at the base of the hill and enhanced the original Buddha paintings within the temple halls.
The temple preserves two sacred Buddha footprints on the mountain, accessed by a stairway decorated with seven-headed Naga railings.
Visitors can reach the temple grounds by car and explore multiple structures, including a hall covering the cliff face and paths leading to a small waterfall.
The temple area contains Dickite rocks, known locally as Hin Sabu, which were historically carved into writing implements for school use.
