Church of Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire of Tunis, 19th century Catholic church and arts center in Medina district, Tunis, Tunisia.
The Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire building features a central dome and stands at the southern entrance of the Medina near Bab el Jazira.
Originally constructed in 1895 as a Turkish general's residence, the structure was converted into a Catholic church in 1896 during the French protectorate.
After Tunisia's independence in 1964, the church transformed into the Hassan-Zmerli Cultural Center, hosting theatrical performances and artistic events.
Located at 9 rue de l'École in Tunis, the building requires substantial restoration work due to the partial collapse of its roof.
The structure combines elements of Turkish residential architecture with Catholic religious modifications, including crystal chandeliers added in 1924.
