Saklıkent Canyon

The canyon extends for 18 kilometers through limestone cliffs, reaching heights of 300 meters with cold waters flowing from mountain springs.

The Turkish government established Saklıkent as a national park in 1996 to preserve its geological formations and natural resources.

The name Saklıkent translates to Hidden City in Turkish, reflecting the secluded nature of this geological formation between Fethiye and Kaş.

Visitors require water-resistant shoes to navigate the wooden walkways and wade through the river during the exploration of the canyon.

The canyon contains 30 waterfalls along its course, with opportunities for guided tours that include rappelling down these natural water features.
