Ertuğrul Tekke Mosque, Historic mosque in Istanbul
The Ertuğrul Tekke Mosque is a late Ottoman-era mosque located in the Beşiktaş district.
Commissioned by Sultan Abdulhamid II in 1887, it commemorates the Ertuğrul cavalry regiment.
Named after Ertuğrul, the father of Osman I, founder of the Ottoman Empire.
Located near Yıldız Park, it is now a site visited by both worshippers and tourists.
Characterized by its octagonal architecture and the adjacent Tekke complex.
