The Dolmabahçe Mosque, also known as the Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan Mosque, is an Ottoman imperial mosque located in Istanbul.
Construction of the Dolmabahçe Mosque started in 1853 and it was completed in 1855 by architect Garabet Amira Balyan.
The mosque upholds the traditional Ottoman architecture while incorporating Baroque style elements.
It is situated in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, on the European coast of the Bosphorus strait.
Dolmabahçe Mosque's two minarets with their single galleries are characteristic of its late Ottoman design.
