Vasat Atik Ali Pasha Mosque

The Vasat Atik Ali Pasha Mosque features six domes arranged in two rows and a minaret constructed with traditional Ottoman architectural elements.

Built in 1512 under the patronage of Sultan Bayezid II's grand vizier Hadım Atik Ali Pasha, the mosque stands as a testament to early 16th-century Ottoman craftsmanship.

The mosque functions as both a religious center and a community gathering place, maintaining continuous Islamic practices for over five centuries in Istanbul.

Located on Fevzipaşa Street, the mosque underwent substantial restoration work in 2013, including repairs to its minaret at a cost of 2.2 million Turkish lira.

This religious structure bears the distinction of being one of only two mosques in Istanbul with multiple domes, sharing this characteristic with Piyale Pasha Mosque.
