Kadıköy İnciburnu Feneri

Kadıköy İnciburnu Feneri is a modern lighthouse on the Anatolian shore of the Bosporus, positioned to mark the entrance to Kadıköy Harbor. The white concrete structure with its conical design stands at the water's edge and guides maritime traffic through this busy strait.

Built in 1977, this lighthouse forms a critical navigational line with Ahırkapı Feneri across the strait. Together, these two structures establish a boundary reference for ships moving through this section of the waterway.

The structure represents the maritime heritage of Istanbul, standing as a symbol of safe passage through the Bosporus, connecting the Black Sea to Marmara.

This lighthouse runs on solar power, making it an energy-efficient maritime aid. Visitors can view it from the nearby waterfront, which provides a good vantage point to see how the structure operates in context with the harbor.
