Hasan Rıza Pasha Fountain

Hasan Riza Pasha Fountain is a square limestone and brick structure with a barrel vault, water reservoir, and three stone arches decorated with carved ornaments. The arches display crescent moons and branch motifs cut into the stone in typical Ottoman style.

This fountain was commissioned in the early 1840s and a marble inscription beneath the arches records its construction date. The structure dates from an era when public water sources were regularly built in expanding Ottoman neighborhoods.
