Ershui Township

Ershui Township is a rural area in Changhua County that spreads across farmland and contains several villages. The region is bordered by the Bagua mountain range and shows a mix of fields, small settlements, and natural hills.

Settlement of this region began in the 1600s when farmers from Fujian came to the foothills of Bagua mountain and started farming. These early communities became the foundation for how the area developed over time.

The name Ershui comes from 'Two Waters,' referring to irrigation canals that bring water from the Zhuoshui River to farmland in the area. These water systems shape the landscape and show how the place has always been tied to farming.

The local train station serves as a connection point between different rail lines, making it easy to travel to other parts of Taiwan. From here, visitors can reach multiple destinations across the island.

The Songboling Recreational Area has hiking paths where visitors can spot wild monkeys living in the mountain area. This chance to see animals in their natural home makes the place special for nature lovers.
