Guanyin Temple is a Chinese temple in Anping featuring a gleaming golden exterior and a main hall with multiple altars. Inside, statues of Guanyin Bodhisattva and other deities stand among ornate decorations where worshippers leave offerings.
The temple began in the late 1500s when fishermen brought a Guanyin statue from mainland China to Anping. The current building was reconstructed between 1986 and 1992, though it still preserves plaques from earlier periods.
