The High-Heel Wedding Church is a building shaped like an oversized woman's shoe standing approximately 18 meters tall, with its exterior covered in about 300 blue-tinted glass panels. The interior uses the shoe's form functionally, with ceremonial spaces in the toe area and stage structures integrated into the upper section.
The structure opened in 2016 and immediately received recognition from Guinness World Records as the world's largest shoe-shaped building. This acknowledgment established it as a notable example of modern architectural novelty in the region.
The building functions as a modern wedding venue where couples gather for ceremonies and photographs, making it a symbol of contemporary marriage celebrations in Taiwan. Its shoe shape has become a playful way for the location to express joy and romance.
