Tainan Municipal Taikang Cultural Center

The Tainan Municipal Taikang Cultural Center is a cultural facility in Annan District spread over a large area with five floors. The building houses a performance hall, a library, and community education facilities in a single location.

The facility began as a 2004 initiative by the Taikang Culture Promotion Society, with construction starting in 2015 and official opening in April 2019. The project reflects the city's commitment to supporting local artists and community education.

The center offers exhibition spaces and a theater with 600 seats where local and international artists perform throughout the year. These spaces serve as gathering places where the community discovers new works and celebrates together.

The building has a library in the basement level with audiovisual rooms and reading areas open to visitors. The facilities are well organized, making it easy to move between different activity areas.

The center divides into two separate structures: a theater building for performances and a separate classroom building for instruction. This design allows performances and educational activities to happen simultaneously without disruption.
