Siaogangshan Skywalk Park, Musical instrument-shaped skywalk in Gangshan District, Taiwan
Siaogangshan Skywalk is an observation platform in Gangshan that extends roughly 88 meters high and is supported by 24 steel cables. The structure mimics a violin's neck and strings, offering wide views of the surrounding landscape from above.
The structure opened in 2018 on Siaogangshan Mountain, repurposing former military land for public recreation. This transformation made the site a popular destination for the Kaohsiung region.
The tower takes the shape of a violin with steel cables arranged like strings, merging musical design into the everyday landscape. This artistic approach gives the place a distinctive visual identity that visitors immediately recognize and remember.
The site is open daily, with extended hours on weekends. Shuttle buses run from designated parking areas to bring visitors up to the platform.
Sections of the walkway feature transparent glass panels that let visitors look directly down at the Agouting Reservoir. Walking on these glass sections creates an intense feeling of being suspended high above the water.
