Perehinske, Settlement in Kalush Raion, Ukraine
Perehinske is an urban-type settlement located in Kalush Raion within Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast in western Ukraine. It functions as an administrative center for the surrounding hromada and provides essential services to residents and neighboring communities.
The settlement was first mentioned in 1292 under the name Peren' hinul and was later granted to the Orthodox cathedral of Krylos by Prince Fiodor Olgierdowic. In the 16th century it passed into the care of Gedeon Balaban, bishop of Lvov.
The settlement underwent administrative changes reflecting Ukrainian reforms, transforming from an urban-type designation to a rural settlement classification in January 2024.
The settlement has basic residential infrastructure and is accessible by road from surrounding areas. Visitors can navigate through local services and facilities that support everyday life for those living here.
For 230 years, the settlement experienced ownership disputes until 1593 when it was donated to Gedeon Balaban, the bishop of Lvov.
