Description

History
The building was originally the Anatomical Theater of Kyiv University, built in 1853 following classical architectural principles. It later became a museum dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of medicine.
Culture
Exhibition halls feature life-size figures of medical scientists and dioramas showing how medical practice developed over time. These displays help visitors understand how doctors and healing methods were valued in different periods.

The museum is located near Universytet subway station and is easily reached by public transportation. Visitors should plan ahead as opening hours are limited and guided tours are available in multiple languages.
