Podilskyi Zoo spans across 8 hectares of land, featuring specialized enclosures for diverse animal species, children's playgrounds, and decorative sculptures throughout the grounds.
Founded in December 2005 from a former zoological nursery focused on game animals, this establishment stands as the most recent addition to Ukraine's eight zoos.
The zoo maintains educational programs connecting local schools with wildlife conservation efforts while promoting environmental awareness through interactive exhibits and presentations.
The facility operates year-round with seasonal hours, opening at 9:00 and closing at 19:00 during summer, 18:00 in spring and autumn, and 16:00 in winter.
A specialized bear enclosure constructed in 2018 incorporates glass facades, swimming pools, and temperature control systems maintaining minimums of 5 degrees Celsius.
