The settlement was established between the 7th and 5th centuries BC when nomadic groups in this region began building permanent fortified structures. This period marked a shift toward settled life and organized defense systems among the peoples of the region.
Pottery and metal tools found during excavations show that people here traded with distant communities and maintained connections beyond their immediate region. The objects tell us how these residents interacted with neighboring groups through exchange of goods.
The site sits on elevated ground that naturally protected residents and provided clear views across the surrounding lands. Visitors should expect uneven terrain and hillside slopes, particularly when exploring the defensive ramparts and their layout.
Buildings were positioned close to the defensive ramparts while the central area remained open and unbuilt. This arrangement shows that residents deliberately designed their settlement to balance strong defense with space for farming and herds.
