Landscape Reserve Chervona Balka Pivnichna

The landscape reserve spans across 28.3 hectares of protected land, featuring valleys, slopes, and diverse steppe vegetation in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR designated this area as a protected landscape reserve on December 12, 1983, to safeguard local ecosystems.

Local educational institutions regularly conduct field studies in the reserve to examine native plant species and observe natural habitats in their original state.

Visitors can access the reserve at coordinates 48.105°N 33.513056°E, where they will find various walking paths through the protected natural environment.

The reserve contains multiple species of astragalus plants growing among remnants of historical railway infrastructure, creating an intersection of nature and industrial heritage.
