Svitanok Ice Arena

Svitanok Ice Arena is an indoor sports facility in Kovalivka with a 58 by 25 meter ice rink maintained to professional standards for skating and hockey training. The building contains locker rooms, medical facilities, equipment rental services, and a cafeteria for visitors.

The opening of Svitanok Ice Arena brought winter sports infrastructure to the Kovalivka region for the first time. This facility established the foundation for organized ice hockey and figure skating programs in the area.

The name Svitanok means Dawn in Ukrainian, symbolizing a new beginning for the local sports community. The space functions as a gathering place where young hockey players and skaters from the region come together regularly.

The facility welcomes both beginners and experienced athletes and offers instruction at various skill levels. Visitors can rent equipment on site or bring their own gear.

The arena serves as the home venue for Kovalivski Kabany, a team that competes in the Ukrainian U-15 hockey championship. Local pride in this young squad has made the facility a vital training and competition center for the entire region.
