Walk of the Brave is a pathway with memorial plaques on Constitution Square in Kyiv that honors foreign leaders. The plaques are arranged across the space and mark each individual visit by an international guest.
The pathway was created in August 2022 to mark the country's 31st independence day. The first visit honored was that of the Polish President during the opening ceremony.
The walk displays names of foreign leaders who traveled to Kyiv during 2022 to show their support during a difficult period. You can see how important these visits were to the country by reading the inscriptions and observing where the plaques are placed.
