One Churchill Place, Office skyscraper in Canary Wharf, United Kingdom
One Churchill Place extends to a height of 156.3 meters with 32 floors, featuring modern architectural elements and glass facade panels.
The construction of this corporate building began in 2004, and Barclays chairman Matthew Barrett conducted the official opening ceremony in June 2005.
The structure represents the transformation of London's Docklands from industrial shipping area into a center of international banking and finance.
The building connects directly to the Canary Wharf underground station and contains 157,164 square meters of office space for corporate activities.
The original design specified 50 floors, but security considerations following global events led to modifications resulting in the current 32-story structure.
