Hampton Court Palace, Royal palace in Richmond upon Thames, England

The palace combines Tudor and Baroque architectural elements, featuring red brick walls, ornate chimneys, and multiple courtyards spread across extensive grounds.

Cardinal Thomas Wolsey constructed Hampton Court Palace in 1515 before Henry VIII acquired it and transformed it into one of his principal residences.

The Great Hall contains an elaborate hammered beam roof and served as the central dining space for Tudor court members during ceremonial gatherings.

The palace maintains regular opening hours throughout the year, with direct train connections from London Waterloo station to Hampton Court station.

The gardens include a grape vine planted in 1768 that measures 36.5 meters long and produces an annual harvest of black grapes.
