The Wheel of Sheffield is a Ferris wheel at The Moor featuring 18 gondolas that accommodate up to six passengers each. The structure rises approximately 21 meters and offers views over the city center and surrounding districts.
The wheel began operating in July 2009 on Fargate before being relocated to London's Hyde Park in October 2010. This move marked the end of its original deployment in Sheffield.
The wheel serves as a focal point during Sheffield's winter celebrations and market season. It has become a recognized landmark where locals and visitors gather to enjoy the festive atmosphere and city views together.
