Wheel of Sheffield, Ferris wheel at The Moor, Sheffield, England
The Ferris wheel features 18 fiber-glass gondolas that can accommodate 108 passengers, with each capsule holding six people during the ride.
The installation started operating in July 2009 on Fargate and remained there until October 2010, when it was relocated to London's Hyde Park.
The wheel provides entertainment during Sheffield Christmas Market, creating a central element of winter celebrations in the city center.
The structure stands 21 meters tall between buildings at The Moor, offering direct views over Sheffield's city center and surrounding districts.
The wheel incorporates 10,000 lights that illuminate its structure during evening hours, transforming the nighttime appearance of The Moor district.
