Green Room, State parlor in the White House.
The Green Room is one of three state parlors on the first floor in the White House, the home of the President of the United States.
It was initially used as a dining room when the White House was completed in 1800.
The room has been traditionally decorated in various shades of green.
Today, the Green Room is used for small receptions and teas.
Despite its name, some early press reports call it the 'Levee Room'.
