Cross Hall is a broad hallway inside the White House, the official residence of the President of the United States.
Designed by architect James Hoban, Cross Hall was established during the rebuilding of the White House following the fire of 1814.
As a venue for prestigious receptions, it bears witness to many historical events and presidential decisions.
Located on the ground floor of the main building, it connects the East Room with the State Dining Room.
