Kernersville, Town center in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States
Kernersville stretches across 17.4 square miles of land between Winston-Salem and Greensboro, forming the largest suburb of Winston-Salem in North Carolina.
The settlement began in 1756 when Irish settler Caleb Story established Dobson's Crossroads, which later became Kernersville after Joseph Kerner acquired the property.
The Kernersville Museum documents local heritage through exhibits and artifacts, while the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden displays regional plant collections.
