Timber Wolf

Timber Wolf is a wooden roller coaster at Worlds of Fun that takes riders through numerous drops and turns across a long wooden track. Two trains run on the course, each carrying enough passengers to create the sensation of repeated thrills throughout the day.

The coaster opened in 1989 as a major addition to the park with modern wooden construction techniques. A significant redesign in 2018 transformed one of its major curves, updating how riders experience that section of the ride.

The attraction earned recognition as the world's leading roller coaster in the 1991 Inside Track survey, representing a pinnacle achievement in wooden coaster construction.

Riders must meet a minimum height requirement for safety, so check specifications before boarding if you are traveling with children. Operating hours can vary with weather and time of day, so arriving early helps avoid lengthy wait times during peak hours.
