100 East Pratt Street, Office skyscraper in Inner Harbor, Baltimore, United States
100 East Pratt Street is a modern office tower at Baltimore's Inner Harbor with a glass and steel structure. The building contains 28 floors of office space, ground-level retail areas, and a multi-level parking garage serving the complex.
The original structure was a ten-story concrete building completed in 1975 that anchored the business district. The glass tower extension was added in 1992, transforming the facade into a contemporary design.
The building houses several major financial firms that reflect Baltimore's role as a business center. These companies shape the daily rhythm and economic activity around the Inner Harbor waterfront.
The building offers parking for several hundred vehicles in an integrated structure and has restaurants and shops on the ground level. Visitors and workers can access various amenities within the same waterfront complex.
The roof structure features trusses that both support the southern facade and illuminate the Baltimore skyline at night. This dual function of the roof framework is an uncommon engineering solution in tall buildings.
