A ten-story concrete building completed in 1975 first stood on this site as part of Baltimore's growing business district. A glass tower extension added in 1992 replaced much of the original look and brought the structure to its current height.
Several major financial firms occupy the tower, drawing a steady flow of workers to the Inner Harbor each weekday. The ground floor shops and restaurants serve both office employees and visitors exploring the waterfront.
