Baltimore World Trade Center, Skyscraper and observation deck at Inner Harbor, United States
The Baltimore World Trade Center rises 405 feet with 32 floors of glass and concrete architecture along the waterfront of Downtown Baltimore.
Completed in 1977 at a cost of 22 million dollars, the building was designed by architectural firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners to promote international trade.
The 27th floor observation level displays exhibits about Baltimore's development and includes the Maryland 9/11 Memorial with steel beams from New York.
The Top of the World observation deck operates Wednesday through Sunday, with adult tickets at 8 dollars and reduced rates for seniors and children.
Hurricane Isabel flooded the building's basement with 3 million gallons of water in 2003, requiring extensive repairs and a month-long closure.
