970 Park Avenue is a twelve-story red brick residential building in the Georgian style on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, designed by the firm Schwartz and Gross. It holds forty apartments and operates as a full-service building with a doorman.
The building went up in 1912, at a time when the Upper East Side was shifting from a mixed-use area into a sought-after residential neighborhood. That wave of construction shaped much of what Park Avenue looks like today.
