Bridgewater Place, Grand Rapids

Bridgewater Place is an 18-story office building at Bridge Street that rises 272 feet (83 meters) with floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. The glass facade provides continuous views of the Grand River and the downtown skyline.

The building was completed in 1993 as the first part of a planned two-building development project. Its construction marked the start of renewed commercial growth in the downtown area.

The building houses offices for lawyers and financial professionals who work overlooking the river. This concentration of professional services shaped downtown into an important business center for the region.

The building includes a seven-level parking structure located directly on site for visitor convenience. Access is controlled through automated card readers and gates to keep traffic moving smoothly.

The office floor plans here are more spacious than other buildings in the city, allowing room for larger work areas. This made it particularly attractive for law firms and financial companies needing substantial space.
