Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids sits along the Grand River about 25 miles east of Lake Michigan and is home to roughly 199,000 residents, making it the second largest city in Michigan. The city spreads across both riverbanks and connects dense downtown districts with residential areas extending toward the suburbs.

Local breweries produce beer in such quantities that the city earned recognition as Beer City USA through national competitions and polls. More than 80 breweries in the area offer tours and tastings, drawing travelers interested in craft beer traditions.
