C. H. Burroughs House, Queen Anne residential architecture in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The C. H. Burroughs House features brick construction with a stone foundation, three distinct facade bays, and a round turret with a conical peak.

Samuel Hannaford designed this residence in 1888 on former Lane Theological Seminary grounds, incorporating both Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival architectural elements.

The Cincinnati Federation of Colored Women's Clubs acquired the property in 1925, establishing it as a community gathering space free from racial exclusion.

The seventeen-room structure maintains its original brass chandeliers, ornamental fireplaces, carved woodwork, and crown molding throughout the interior spaces.

A substantial renovation project in 1998, supported by a $230,000 grant from Cincinnati's government, reinforced the building's structural integrity.
