Centennial Beach

Centennial Beach is a swimming facility housed in a former limestone quarry that has been flooded with spring water. The water ranges from shallow entry points to depths around 15 feet in certain zones.

The site operated as a limestone quarry starting in 1833 until 1913, when underground springs naturally flooded the excavation. The flooded quarry was then repurposed as a public swimming area in 1932.

The name commemorates Naperville's centennial. The place serves as a local gathering spot where families come together throughout the warmer months for swimming and relaxation.

The facility welcomes both local residents and visiting swimmers with separate admission rates. Taking advantage of off-peak hours or group packages can help reduce your entry cost.
