Chesham

Chesham is a historic district along Chesham Road in New Hampshire that preserves buildings dating from the 1800s, including six residences and a railroad depot. The architectural style varies across these structures, showing the tastes and building practices of different decades during that era.

The railroad arrived in 1880, bringing growth and connecting the village to broader commerce and travel networks. This development spurred construction of the depot and prompted nearby properties to transform into service businesses that supported travelers and goods shipment.
