Built in 1695, Henry Kingsnorth constructed this residence before selling it to Comfort Starr, a tailor who purchased the property in 1694.

Scientific analysis through dendrochronology in 2014 confirmed the construction date and established this structure among the oldest wooden houses in the United States.
