Eden Park

Eden Park is an urban park spanning a large area with multiple viewpoints overlooking the river valley and downtown skyline. The grounds feature walking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and parking throughout different sections.

The city purchased the land in 1869 from Joseph Longworth, who operated a vineyard there and named it after the biblical Garden of Eden. This origin shaped the identity the place carries to this day.

The Spring House Gazebo built in 1904 is the oldest structure in the city's parks and even appears on the Cincinnati Park Board logo. This small structure is an overlooked landmark that quietly marks the place's long history.
