Lien Khuong Airport, airport in Vietnam
Lien Khuong Airport is a commercial airport in Lam Dong Province, in the southern highlands of Vietnam. It has one terminal handling both passenger and cargo flights on domestic and regional routes.
The airport was expanded in the 1990s to serve growing demand for flights to the highland region around Dalat. It gradually became the main gateway for travelers heading to that area.
The terminal sits about 30 km south of Dalat and is reachable by taxi or shuttle from the city. Facilities inside are basic, so allow extra time after landing for baggage collection.
The surrounding mountains trap fog and low clouds regularly, which often leads to flight delays or diversions to other airports. This makes the approach one of the more demanding ones for pilots flying into the Vietnamese highlands.
